Child Clinical Psychologist

Dr. James Feinberg
Dr. Feinberg is a child and adolescent clinical psychologist with 30+ years experience. Child clinical psychologists, clinical child psychologists, and/or clinical child and family psychologists as we are often referred to, are highly educated and highly trained psychologists who specialize in evaluating as well as treating children, teenagers, and their families. We are the real deal, and there are very few of us in the St. Louis area.
Experience
Since 1980, Dr. Feinberg has treated boys in a variety of settings including half-way houses, community mental health centers, state hospitals, private psychiatric hospitals, employee assistance programs, as well in private practice. In the past, Dr. Feinberg was also an adjunct professor at Washington University where he supervised graduate students and Ph.D. candidates in clinical psychology. For the past 19 years, Dr. Feinberg has been in practice with his lovely wife and clinical psychologist, Dr. Vera Gabliani.

Practice Philosophy
Quality over Quantity: Dr. Feinberg's sole focus is upon providing exceptional care to boys and teenage boys 7 - 17 years of age. For this reason, Dr. Feinberg has a small practice where he intensively treats 12-15 boys per week.

Testimonials
We just completed an initial phase of 6 sessions to diagnose our child's condition, and we have found Dr. F to be clear, to the point, and precise in his explanations. He answers our questions with professionalism and courtesy. We definitely believe that no other person could have worked so well with our son, getting to the crux of the issue quickly but thoroughly. Without a doubt, we want to continue having our child work with Dr. F. to address the diagnosis.
